The Law Office Of John Adams Christiansen, L.C., was founded in 1996 by John A. Christiansen, who had previously served as an Assistant Attorney General of Missouri, handling workers' compensation cases and civil litigation. The mission of the firm is to provide extraordinary legal representation to people who have been injured and wronged, to achieve the best possible results for the client, to help bring about justice, and to advance the legal system in positive ways. Personal injury, workers' compensation, tort law, and employment are the firm's main areas of concentration. Client satisfaction is of the utmost importance. Since the firm's founding, John has been providing personal service and attention to a wide range of Missouri and Kansas clients, with a particular focus on helping injured people pursue personal injury and workers' compensation claims.
In addition to his extensive legal practice, John, holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center (a legal master's degree) in addition to the standard J.D. law degree, which he received from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review and graduated in the top 15% of his class. In addition, he previously served as an adjunct professor and lecturer at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). He holds bachelor's degrees from University of Missouri-Columbia and the University of Kansas.

John has two office locations. One in downtown Kansas City, Missouri and one in Blue Springs, Missouri. The office in Blue Springs is convenient for clients in Eastern Jackson County. It is located in the southern part of Blue Springs, just off 7 Highway, at 333 S.W. Lake Village Blvd., Blue Springs, MO 64014. The downtown Kansas City office is located at 1111 Main Street, Town Pavilion, Harzfeld's Building, 7th Floor, Kansas City, MO 64105. Evening and weekend appointments are available for clients who cannot meet during regular business hours.
