As a plaintiff’s attorney, Mr. Christiansen focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury and workers’ compensation. He also provides effective representation in general civil litigation matters.

Mr. Christiansen has received considerable professional recognition for his accomplishments in the legal profession. This includes:

  • Kansas City Business Journal’s “Best of the Bar” for 2013 through 2016 (as voted by other attorneys)

  • Handled well over 100 trials

  • Taken and defended more than 1,000 depositions

Mr. Christiansen’s litigation experience is reflected in other ways as well. For example, he has handled over 2,000 workers’ compensation cases. He has guided clients at every stage of the legal process, from initial advice and counsel to possible litigation, trial, and, where necessary, on appeal.

Role In State Government And Professional Organizations

In addition to his private practice experience, Mr. Christiansen has worked in state government and in the law school setting. He is a former Assistant Attorney General of Missouri and a former adjunct professor at UMKC.

Mr. Christiansen is also active in bar associations, particularly the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association. He served as chairman or co-chairman of the workers’ compensation and appellate practice committees for the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Associations.
